Agricultural Hazardous Waste Program

Each year the Dane County Clean Sweep receives a Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (WDATCP) agricultural clean sweep grant. This grant underwrites our disposal costs so there will be no cost to farmers to dispose of unused or unwanted pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers through the Dane County Clean Sweep program. Additionally, agricultural businesses pay only one-half the normal business cost to dispose of unused or unwanted pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.

Schedule an Appointment: Agricultural hazardous waste and chemicals are accepted by appointment only Tuesdays to Fridays. To schedule an appointment, please email or call our hazardous waste coordinator at Belida.Kevin@danecounty.gov  or (608) 838-3212. You will also be asked to fill out a VSQG Application
